Recently I came across a brand which is not that well known Focallure. I bought their highlighter last year which is a great dupe for NYX Born to Glow one. This year their website showed a whole range of products so I decided to buy a few to give you One Brand Review. Before starting the review I want to say I might make turn this One Brand Review Week into a series in which I will review not so many well-known products so if you know any underrated brand or want me to review any product do let me know in the comments section below. Now let’s start the review:
What it claims: “Focallure Fluid Foundation can camouflage imperfections and delivers a long-lasting velvet matte finish. This highly pigmented formula blends effortlessly to create a soft-focus effect on ski, delivering a dimensional velvet matte finish that never looks flat”
Focallure Foundation:
I must say that looking at shades range of some other brand Focallure has a very limited collection. Their shade range is not at all vast which can be a turn off for many people. I ordered all the stuff online so choosing the right was a risk. I found Ivory and Porcelain to be a bit pale for me so I ordered Natural. Unfortunately, 04 Natural shade is a deep peachy beige and would suit deep medium tan skin tones. I think if I had ordered Porcelain too and then mixed it a bit then it might have been a good match but nonetheless, your girl made it work.Shades Available:
01 Alabaster, 02 Porcelain, 03 Warm Ivory, 04 Natural, 05 Natural Tan, 06 Honey, 07 Warm Beige, 08 SandWhat it claims: “Focallure Fluid Foundation can camouflage imperfections and delivers a long-lasting velvet matte finish. This highly pigmented formula blends effortlessly to create a soft-focus effect on ski, delivering a dimensional velvet matte finish that never looks flat”
Packaging:
I have to say that Focallure packaging is very sleek. It comes in a black matte box which can give any high-end brand’s packaging a run for their money. Inside that black box is the Focallure Fluid Foundation comes in a lightweight plastic bottle with a black plastic pump. Foundation bottle is of extremely high quality and that pump I must say is not like your average drugstore product’s pump which either doesn’t even work or breaks too easily. The small size of the bottle makes it travel-friendly as well.
Texture:
The texture is really smooth almost silk-like staying true to its name. It’s neither thick nor very runny making it very easy to apply with either a foundation brush or a blender.
Pigmentation:
Focallure Foundation provides medium to full coverage. When I first applied it, it didn’t give me full coverage but went back at it again with remaining pumped out the foundation and Voila! My skin is absolutely gorgeous. This is worth mentioning that in only one pump there is enough product to work with. I pumped it twice and was left with extra foundation so Don’t pump twice at first.
Feel and Longevity:
The brand claims the feel of this foundation as ‘velvet matte’. I have a combination to dry skin and it definitely was a little dewy on my skin. People with too oily skins can skip this foundation. Although there is one thing, you have to work this foundation a bit in spreading it evenly otherwise it can look a bit cakey. The foundation on itself also transfers a lot. But surprisingly, once set with powder, it does not transfer even a bit. I had this foundation on for good 7 hours and it was only last hour when it started showing cracks so I’d say it’s good for a 4 or 5-hour wear. It’s also something you can wear daily just to balance out your skin color if you don’t want to wear a full foundation on a daily basis. This can make your skin look glowy and healthy in one tiny pump.Ingredients:

What’s the Rank?
I didn’t get the right shade so I can’t talk about how it oxidizes it was already a bit orange for me. It looked fine after I set it with powder and did all the highlighting and contouring. I think it’s definitely a hit if you find your exact match in this 8 shade range. I must say this foundation is not the best available in the market but just for under 7$ this can be your budget-friendly daily wear.
